Request Data Deletion

Last updated: 2026-10-16

Your right to be forgotten

You have the right to request the deletion of all personal data OneFamily.uno holds about you, in line with Article 17 of the GDPR. This page explains how to make that request and what we will do.

Two paths are available: in-app self-service (fastest) and an email request to our privacy address (for users who can no longer sign in or who prefer to ask in writing).

In-app: delete your account in 30 seconds

If you can still sign in, the fastest way is to delete your account directly:

  1. Open the OneFamily.uno app and sign in
  2. Go to Profile → Security
  3. Tap "Delete Account" and confirm with your password
  4. Your connected social media tokens (Poster module) are revoked immediately on every connected platform

Your profile details are removed the moment you confirm, and your login record, including your email address, thirty days later. Deletion cannot be undone: there is no self-restore and no window in which the account can be recovered, so download your data first if you want a copy.

By email

If you cannot sign in or prefer to ask in writing, send an email to:

Suggested subject: "GDPR Article 17 — Account deletion request". Include the email address associated with your OneFamily.uno account.

We will confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR. If we need to verify your identity to prevent fraudulent requests, we will ask for one additional piece of information before proceeding.

What is deleted

This is what is removed, and when:

  • Your profile details — display name, date of birth, landline number, avatar and the encryption key held for you — the moment you confirm
  • Your membership of every neighborhood circle, ended at that same moment, and your open requests and offers, cancelled
  • Any API key you stored for the AI features
  • Poster module: the OAuth tokens for every connected platform, revoked at the platform before the local copy is deleted
  • Your login record, including your email address, thirty days after the request

What remains is anonymised. Your requests, offers, resources, Dreams, connections and messages stay attached to an emptied profile that no longer identifies you, together with the contribution balances that follow from them, so that other members' record of help given and received stays intact. Separately, some records are kept where the law requires it — accounting records for invoiced payments, for ten years under German tax law — and those are stored apart and used for nothing else.

Poster module — third-party platforms

If you used the Poster module, your deletion request also triggers revocation on every connected platform (Meta, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Meetup, Brevo). We call each platform's revocation endpoint before deleting the local token copy.

However, content you already published to those platforms remains on those platforms — we cannot delete posts that have already left our system. To delete published content, you must do so directly on each platform.

Other rights you have

Deletion is one of several rights under GDPR. You also have the right to access, rectify, restrict, port, or object to processing. See our Privacy Policy for the full list and how to exercise each.
