From Bamberg and București, onto the European map

This week we learned that OneFamily.uno is listed on the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform — a joint initiative of the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee — as a good practice. The entry captures what we are trying to build together with you:
OneFamily.uno is a new European platform where people share resources and time. They are rewarded for this in ORE, a digital unit that reflects the life hours members invest so that value keeps flowing through the community.
It is filed under Consumption, Reuse, Product as a Service, Behavioural incentives, and Digital solutions. Five labels that, taken together, point at something quietly radical: we don't have to produce so much. We can share what already exists.
Picture your street. Your neighbourhood. Your Quartier. The drill nobody owns but everyone needs. The trailer that sits unused fifty weeks a year. The lawnmower, the sewing machine, the bread maker. The afternoon a retired neighbour has free, that could mean everything to a young parent two doors down. Each of these is value waiting to be circulated. Each of these is a small refusal of waste.
OneFamily.uno is the place where neighbours come together to do exactly that. People bring their resources, their hours, and their willingness to help. Every life hour given is recognised in ORE — one hour, treated as worth the same as any other. Because it is.
